Earth Resources Regulator
The Earth Resources Regulator oversees the mineral, quarry and onshore conventional gas sectors in Victoria to protect public safety, infrastructure and the environment. The team includes engineers, hydrologists, scientists, licensing officers, inspectors, policy makers, engagement specialists and assessment officers.
Geological Survey of Victoria
The Geological Survey of Victoria (GSV) is the Victorian Government’s geoscience agency. GSV is responsible for understanding the state’s geological framework through regional geoscientific investigations, particularly to enable the informed and responsible management of state-owned resources.
