These reports give the public, industry investors and existing resource operators a sector-wide snap-shot of activity and performance of the earth resources sector. It combines information from the petroleum, geothermal, minerals and extractive industries.

The Departmental Performance Measures report, measures the department's performance against the Victorian Government's Budget Paper measures and includes those assigned to the Resources Division.

What information is included?

  • Percentage of exploration and mining licences which are not active
  • Percentage of exploration licence applications, mining industry work plans and mining licence applications processed within regulatory timeframes
  • Percentage of regulatory audits completed within agreed timeframes.

Twice a year.
