Webinar aids local conversations about minerals exploration
Yesterday the first of two information session took place about minerals exploration in an 800 square kilometre area west of Ararat and Stawell, excluding the Grampians National Park.
Yesterday the first of two information session took place about minerals exploration in an 800 square kilometre area west of Ararat and Stawell, excluding the Grampians National Park.
The community webinar outlined landholder rights, the safeguards in place to protect properties, obligations of exploration companies and the tools available to help landholders negotiate with minerals explorers.
Another session will be held this evening between 7.00pm-8.30pm.
Earth Resources Regulation recently issued Victorian-based explorer Gippsland Prospecting the fourth minerals exploration licence following the 2018 Stavely Ground Release.
The licence allows the company to search for gold, copper and other minerals.
Gippsland Prospecting will attend this evening’s webinar to outline their exploration plans and answer questions from attendees.
