Last night Minister for Resources Jaclyn Symes presented the 2021 Victorian Women in Resources Awards during a virtual event organised by the Minerals Council of Australia with the support of the AusIMM Women in Mining Network.

The 2021 Victorian Women in Resources Award winners are:

• Exceptional Woman in Resources: Laura Chibnall, Director and Principal Consultant - Ensolve
• Exceptional Young Woman in Victorian Resources: Yan Lim, Health Safety Environment and Community Advisor – Stawell Gold Mines
• Outstanding Trade Operator or Technician: Elisabeth Viklund, Underground Operator – Mandalay Resources
• Gender Diversity Champion: Nikki Hartrey, Human Resources Manager –Fosterville Gold Mine
