New funding is now available to help quarry operators plan for their sites once extraction ends. Many of our parks and community facilities are on land that was once used for quarrying.

The Quarry Transformation Grants will boost the ideas being considered for quarry land when production ends so the community gets more benefits. All quarries must be rehabilitated and these grants look to stimulate innovation when it comes to considering the next use of quarry land.
