Australia’s largest annual mining and resources event, the International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC), has been rescheduled for early 2022.

Australia’s largest annual mining and resources event, the International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC), has been rescheduled for early 2022.

Originally set to take place during October 2021, IMARC 2021 will be held at the Melbourne Showgrounds between 31 January and February 2, 2022.

The Melbourne Showgrounds provides a unique environment that will allow organisers to plan for social distancing while still featuring the program, exhibition space and networking opportunities that IMARC is famous for.

Additionally, for the first time, IMARC will include an outdoor exhibition space, allowing attendees to interact with a more diverse range of larger equipment than ever before.

The conference will feature an online component for those that cannot attend in-person.

It is more important than ever for Victoria’s resources sector to connect globally to share knowledge that could result in business opportunities and local jobs.

IMARC 2021 will continue to connect local businesses with global opportunities and further cement Victoria’s reputation as a global mining hub.

This is the eighth edition of IMARC, the Victorian Government is a founding partner along with Austmine, AusIMM and Mines and Money.
