Production Statistics
Liquid hydrocarbons
Liquid hydrocarbon resources include crude oil, condensate and LPG. Total liquid production from the Gippsland Basin as at 2014 was 26,089 petajoules* (PJ), with a total of 2,964 PJ of liquids remaining. In the Otway Basin, 23 PJ have been produced with 65 PJ of condensate remaining.

Gas
Most of Victoria's gas production has come from the offshore Gippsland Basin (9,120 PJ) with 9,253 PJ remaining as at 2014. Petroleum discovery and production came a decade later in the Victorian Otway Basin.The Otway Basin includes South Australia and Victoria. Production has come from offshore and onshore areas and totals 850 PJ, with 1,292 PJ remaining.
