Objecting to a Licence Application

If you wish to object to an application for a licence you may do so online or in writing within 21 days after the latest date on which the application was advertised.

If you have a complaint about any earth resources activities regulated by this department, you can complete our complaints form online. We understand you may wish to remain anonymous however providing your name, address or daytime number is required in case we need to clarify details.

Authorised Officer Complaints

An Authorised Officer is an employee of the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources (DEDJTR) appointed by the Minister or Secretary to carry out a compliance or enforcement function under legislation administered by the department.

We expect our Authorised Officers to exercise their powers with a high degree of professionalism and impartiality and do not tolerate improper conduct.
