Victorian Mining Register

Under Section 69 of the Mineral Resources (Sustainable Development) Act 1990 (MRSDA) the Minister must establish and maintain a mining register for the information of the public. This register includes documents that are relevant to Mining, Exploration, Prospecting and Retention Licences under the MRSDA. This can include the licence itself, approved work plans or work plan variations, and rehabilitation bonds.

You can view and download registered documents via Geovic by following these steps:

  1. Visit Geovic (you may log in if you have a username and password, or use Geovic anonymously)
  2. Navigate to the licence number you are looking for (e.g. MIN****). You can do this by searching for the licence number in Quick Search
