Mining Licence Worksite Management

The holder of a mining licence has the responsibility to ensure that the worksite is controlled and managed by a person whom the holder of the licence reasonably believes is competent to do so. The holder of the licence must also provide the manager with sufficient means to be able to meet all obligations with respect to the worksite placed on him by the MRSDA, and the relevant regulations

The MRSDA describes (see the extract MRSDA) how the holder of a mining licence should determine whether a person is competent to control and manage the worksite.
