Earth Resources Regulation
Earth Resources Regulation supports the Minister for Energy and Resources as Victoria’s resources and mining industry regulator. Our role includes licensing, risk management, compliance responsibilities and community engagement.
As a transparent, responsive and effective regulator, we work closely with industry, local communities and other government agencies to provide timely, accurate and accessible information to stakeholders and build community and business confidence.
Earth Resources Regulation uses a risk-based approach to balance the needs of the environment, community and the Victorian economy. We achieve this through the provision of robust regulation and engagement with all of our stakeholders.
